Ready to swap the lingering Philly chill for 80-degree beach days and the crack of the bat? For the 7th year in a row, Philly Sports Trips is heading back to Clearwater for our absolute favorite tradition of the year.
Of course we’re headed back to the Wyndham Grand Clearwater Beach. This breathtaking 4-star hotel is steps from the beach, featuring stunning Gulf views and the perfect home base for a sun-soaked week. It really doesn’t get better than partying in Clearwater Beach.
Our 2026 trip was one for the books, and spots for 2027 are filling quickly. Stay tuned for which iconic guests will be joining us this year. Don’t get left behind in the cold while the rest of us are kicking off baseball season in the Florida sun.

What happens if there's an MLB lockout?
This trip is incredible whether there's baseball or not. You'll be staying at a beachfront hotel in Clearwater, hanging out with former Phillies legends, and enjoying exclusive parties, alumni events, and beach access all week. During the 2022 lockout, the vast majority of our guests chose to go anyway - and had an unforgettable time. The baseball was a bonus, not the whole experience.
We're monitoring the situation closely and will keep you updated. But the experience, the community, and the fun are locked in regardless.

What happens if there's an MLB lockout?
If a work stoppage impacts Spring Training 2027, you’ll have two options: go on the trip as planned, or defer your booking to Spring Training 2028. No stress, no runaround.

Can I extend my hotel stay before or after the trip dates provided?
Yes, let us know the dates you and your party plan on staying and we will work with the hotel to keep you in the same room(s). An associated cost will be applied to your balance if you decide to extend your stay.
Do I need a REAL ID to travel?
TSA requires all travelers to present a REAL ID-compliant form of identification for domestic air travel. Starting February 1, 2026, if you are unable to provide the required acceptable form of ID at a TSA checkpoint, you will have the option to pay a $45 fee to use TSA ConfirmID. TSA will then attempt to verify your identity so you can begin the airport security screening process.

Yes, we offer convenient and flexible payment plans. You’ll receive email notifications for each payment, ensuring a stress-free way to plan financially for your sports travel package.
Is travel insurance provided?
Travel insurance options are available during the booking process.
What are the service fees associated with booking?
All service fees are processed through our booking partner, WeTravel, and are fully disclosed at the time of checkout. While these industry-standard processing fees are set by the platform for credit card transactions, you can easily avoid them. To waive all service fees, we recommend selecting the ACH/Checking account payment method during checkout.
